i spring fair'ed at JHU once again, and the weather was crappy, once again. i had every intention of posting my appearance at fair on the ole blog, but time restraints kept me from doing so. alas.

despite the catastrophic weather (nasty nor'easter!), i had a wonderful time, along with my ever-faithful friends/helpers, joanna and donna. we were honored to see both new and old faces. thank you to all who came by and showed some love!

things i will never forget about fair 07:
1) the best family ever - they had a little boy who got the "frying nemo" pin, a daughter named april, and a mother who bought her geologist husband the "i rock" button. classic.
2) the extra long corn dog ($5) that was disturbingly thick and long, but oh so delicious. it took three people to eat it. seriously.
3) the 3-D cardboard cutout at the booth across the way.
4) the spots of beautiful weather on saturday.
5) the powerful gusts of wind that lasted all day friday, which leads to number 6...
6) joanna hugging the tent pole all day friday to keep the whole thing from blowing away.
7) the duct tape generosity of those around us.
8) hanging out at den lounge.
9) the increasingly shocking blasts from my past.
